Klaus Kraetzschmar becomes GFR Hellas CEO

Mr. Klaus Kraetzschmar assumes responsibility for coordinating the activities of the company’s branch in Greece, with a primary mission to implement the strategic objectives focused on growth and strengthening the Group’s presence both in the Greek market and the wider region.

Mr. Kraetzschmar has held leadership positions in major companies in Greece, Germany, and Romania, such as Danzas (DHL), DB Schenker Logistics, and VTG Rail Logistics.

Throughout his career, he has managed regional development strategies and complex railway projects, including multimodal transport, Silk Road routes through the Northern and Central corridors, as well as military transport.

He is distinguished for his strategic thinking, effective management, and development of integrated rail solutions, and he has been recognized for implementing innovative logistics practices, creating high-performing teams, and strengthening international partnerships in the transport sector.
